LEaR Space develops aerial platforms starting from a rotary wing system (multirotor) which appears as shown in the figure, consisting of a central body and 4 arms each equipped with 1 motor and 1 propeller.

The platform results from the assembly of the components, shown in the (simplified) bill of materials shown below. The production involves a modular design through which it is possible to realize a multiplicity of configurations thanks to the use of standardized components. This design solution allows to obtain a customized product based on the specific needs of the service, exploiting standard technologies and components and economies of scope, linked to the use of advanced technologies such as 3D manufacturing according to a customized production process, framed in a customized mass type of the system consists of three main phases:
- Definition of functional requirements
- Design and implementation of the platform
- Equipment (control electronics and sensors)
